Choosing your Dru fire.

Many people are not aware that 3 - 4kw of heat is average requirement to heat your living space, With the well insulated homes of today the fire is just additional heating, a good example would be if a Dru wood burning stove with to high output for the room was purchased the wood stove would be probably used on a low heat this can result in the glass on the stove leaving a sooty residue leaving the glass black. To determine the output needed is never easy the number of cubic meters in a living space is determined by multiplying the length width and hight of the space, then dependent on how well your house is insulated you can work out the amount of heat from the wood burner you will require.
